“Hit’em with the new Double Barrel Shotgun in Fortnite v5.20 Patch”
Fortnite v5.20 Patch is now live and it brings a huge amount of damage to your opponents. The patch introduced a new double-barrel shotgun which deals double damage at close range to your opponents.
Double Barrel Shotgun is available in Epic and Legendary variants. You can find them from floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines. The shotgun delivers high burst damage at very close range but damage falls off heavily at distance. It fires 10 pellets like other Shotguns and has 2 second cooldown time when swapping weapons. The Epic variant deals up to 143 base damage per shot at the extreme close range. While the Legendary variant deals up to 150 base damage per shot at the extreme close range.
Apart from a shotgun, the game introduced a new LTM called Steady Storm. As the name suggests, the storm will start closing in from the beginning of the round and there are no safe zones. Players will directly need to reach the center of the circle.
The One Storm that closes in over the course of 15 minutes. There are no safe zone circles. So keep an eye on the map to predict where the Storm will close in. The Storm deals 10 damage per second. Steady Storm tracks profile stats (K/D & wins) and challenges in this mode.
