It is official!!! Borderlands 3 is a thing.
Earlier today, Gearbox Software confirmed Borderlands 3, in partnership with publisher 2K. The game will have over a billion guns, some of them will have legs too. Borderlands 3 will also have plenty of familiar faces (Brick and Tiny Tina) and some new characters. Gearbox did not reveal a release date but we will know more on April 3rd.
If you are craving some Borderlands, then Gearbox has an immediate fix for you. Borderlands Game of the Year Edition is releasing digitally on April 4, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Borderlands GOTY Edition will be visually remastered for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro players to enjoy 4K Ultra HD and HDR. The game will also have added firepower, a more challenging boss battle and more rewards.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will also get a visual upgrade. Players will best appreciate all the added detail at 4K resolution, but improvements can be enjoyed on other displays as well. The Handsome Collection offers the complete story of the franchise’s most iconic villain: Handsome Jack. The collection includes critically-acclaimed shooter-looters Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, along with all of the downloadable content for both titles.
